The Role
We're seeking aBuilding Performance & Optimisation Leadto deliver data-driven building performance programs and services across our customer base, primarily targeting sites with Intelligent Maintenance (IM) deployed.
This role focuses on using building data to drive measurable outcomes by identifying opportunities to improve building performance related to energy efficiency, the indoor setting, and asset performance.
You will lead the design and delivery of building performance programs and implement targeted initiatives that support customers to achieve both operational and commercial objectives.
You will also play a key role in shaping the future of Airmaster's Intelligent Maintenance platform,
working closely with the IM Product Manager to enhance energy management capabilities, analytics, and tooling.
The Building Performance & Optimisation Lead will be responsible for, but not limited to:
Developing and leading the delivery of Building Performance Programs and Services, including NABERS (Energy, Water, IE), WELL pathways, and optimisation services
Analysing and model building data, including BMS/EMS data, to identify, design, implement, validate, and report on solutions that deliver performance improvements
Working with clients, site teams, consultants, and internal AI/Data Science teams to implement building performance programs and targeted initiatives.
Support organising and extracting metering and utilities data, including understanding infrastructure, relationships, topologies, and developing virtual meters where required to support energy management.
Managing complex IM data-driven tasks and provide engineering support to technicians as needed
Maintaining strong customer relationships through consistent delivery and outcomes
Supporting business development and maintain an industry profile in building optimisation, analytics/fault detection diagnostics
Collaborating with IM integrations and product teams to improve data pipelines, models, and platform capabilities
Advocating for data-driven maintenance and digital transformation
Qualifications & Experience
Engineering degree or equivalent industry experience
10+ years' experience in HVAC, BMS, and/or energy management
Experience with analytics/FDD technologies & energy modelling
Solid understanding of building systems and optimisation practices
Strong understanding of building RATING systems, including NABERS, WELLS, etc.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and BI tools
Strong time management and delivery capability
Driver's licence and ability to obtain security clearances
