NSW Department of Customer Service – Sydney CBD NSW
Annual Salary Range:$133,348 - $146,945 plus Superannuation
Employment Type:Ongoing, Full-time
Location:Sydney CBD - close to Museum Station (hybrid).
You'll be office-based a minimum of 5 days per fortnight for full-time roles (pro-rata for part-time), with the remaining days worked flexibly as agreed.

At the Independent Review Office (IRO), you'll help deliver programs that improve how injured people access and experience support within theNSW workers compensation and CTP schemes.

About the role
As a Senior Program Officer, you will manage a portfolio of projects that deliverreal improvements to services, processes and outcomes for injured people.
You'll work across a diverse range of initiatives bringing structure, insight and leadership to ensure programs and projects are deliveredon time, on budget and with impact.
You will manage and monitor the performance of a grants funding program and associated projects to ensure integration and alignment with organisational objectives and optimise outcomes for injured workers.
What you'll do
Lead and coordinate the oversight of the ILARS funding program to ensure it is meeting the program objectives




Lead projects and initiatives to support the delivery of the ILARS funding program
Identifyinterdependencies, risks and opportunitiesacross the program and across interdependent projects and initiatives across the IRO
Ensure stronggovernance, reporting and quality assurance
Build trusted relationships withinternal teams and external stakeholders
Usedata and insightsto inform decision-making and track performance
Contribute tocontinuous improvementand better service delivery across the schemes
The role includes managing program governance, risks, stakeholder engagement and continuous improvement initiatives.
About you
You bring:
Experience deliveringprograms or projects in complex environments
Ideally, knowledge ofworkers compensation, insurance or human services systems
Stronganalytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
A commitment topublic sector values and ethical decision-making
The ability to balancemultiple priorities in a fast-moving environment

Salary Grade 9/10, with the base salary for this role starting at $133,348 base plus superannuation
A talent pool may be created as part of this recruitment process and will be valid for up to 18 months.
The talent pool may be used to fill future ongoing or temporary vacancies of the same or similar role.
