Sales Representative - Traffic Management Equipment
This is a sales-driven role with a practical, hands-on technical component.
You will be the first point of contact for customers seeking traffic management equipment, providing product advice, preparing quotes, and supporting hire companies and sales enquiries.
Alongside your sales duties, you will assist with basic assembly, configuration, and servicing of our equipment sold.
This ensures you understand the products thoroughly and can confidently support customer needs.
This role suits someone who enjoys customer interaction, problem-solving, and occasional workshop work.
Key responsibilities
Respond to inbound enquiries from civil contractors, councils, and traffic management and hire companies
Prepare sales and hire quotes; process orders and follow up leads
Provide product demonstrations and explain features, software tools, and control systems
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and support new business opportunities
Assist customers with product selection and technical questions, utilising our 'help desk'
Assist with assembly of trailers, mounts, and hardware using hand and power tools
Configure power systems, batteries, actuators, and LED display screens
Test communication systems, GPS trackers, and remote cellular control software




Perform basic diagnostics and servicing on fleet and customer units
About you
Proven experience in sales, customer service, or account management, ideally in a technical, industrial, or equipment-based environment
Confident communicator who can build rapport quickly and support customers through the full sales cycle
Comfortable explaining product features, demonstrating equipment, and guiding customers toward the right solution
Mechanically or electrically minded, with the ability to learn how our equipment works
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to get hands-on when required
Current Australian driver's licence - Medium ridged truck licence desirable
LF Forklift licence and White Card desirable
Required to commute to our Minto facility

$80,000+ base salary + 11.5% super
