Core Talent is working with a leading WA contractor delivering civil and multidisciplinary projects across Western Australia. Due to continued project demand, they are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their project delivery team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Engineer to play a key role in the delivery of civil and multidisciplinary projects. You will be responsible for supporting the planning, coordination and delivery of projects from implementation through to handover, working closely with the Project Manager, Supervisor, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Key responsibilities will include:
Coordinating day-to-day project and site activities
Planning and forecasting project activities and resources
Managing project schedules, sequencing and reporting
Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers and project resources
Supporting procurement, tendering, estimating and bidding activities
Managing project quality documentation including ITPs, RFIs, NCRs and methodologies
Supporting HSEQ requirements including SWMS, pre-starts, toolbox meetings and risk assessments
Assisting with cost control, forecasting, take-offs and BOQs
Managing variations, claims and EOTs
Coordinating design reviews and engineering plans
Developing practical engineering solutions to support project delivery
Supporting commissioning and project handover activities
Providing project updates and correspondence to key stakeholders
Identifying and resolving project issues to maintain programme and delivery requirements
We're Looking For
Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
3+ years' site/construction experience
Demonstrated experience working in a Project Engineer role
Experience across civil and/or mechanical projects
Previous commissioning experience
Strong understanding of construction processes and project delivery
Ability to read and interpret engineering plans and drawings
Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel and MS Project
AutoCAD, Revit or SketchUp experience will be highly regarded
Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills
Construction White Card
C Class Driver's Licence
