About the Role
As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance in accordance with manufacturer standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Performing vehicle servicing and repairs efficiently and accurately
Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
Conducting warranty and customer-pay repairs
Completing repair orders and workshop documentation accurately
Carrying out vehicle inspections and reporting additional work required
Working collaboratively with Service Advisors and fellow technicians
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workshop environment
Ensuring all work is completed to Ford manufacturer standards
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:




Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
Previous experience as an Automotive Technician
Diagnostic and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced workshop environment
A positive attitude and strong team focus
Current manual driver's licence preferred
Ford experience highly regarded but not essential
