About the role
As a Cook/Kitchen Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and satisfaction of our residents by preparing and serving delicious, nutritious meals in a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences of residents.
Assist with meal planning, including special dietary needs.
Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen workplace, following food safety standards.
Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning tasks.
Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Provide friendly and respectful service to residents and staff.
About you




Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not mandatory.
Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
Compassionate and patient demeanour.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings.
Certificate III in commercial cookery.
