About the Role
We are seeking a values-led General Manager who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and fostering a person-centred culture. Supported by a dedicated multidisciplinary team, you'll partner with clinical leaders to champion a warm, home-like environment where residents feel safe, supported and truly at home.

What You'll Do
Lead and inspire clinical and non-clinical teams to deliver a high-performing,



values-led culture
Own performance outcomes across care quality, financials, compliance and resident experience
Build trusted relationships with residents, families, team members and the local community
Drive operational excellence through strong systems, continuous improvement and capable leaders
Champion Opal's C.A.R.E values in every decision and action
What You'll Bring
Proven experience as a General Manager or senior leader in a highly regulated, service-led environment (e.g. aged care, health, community services or similar sectors)
Strong ability to inspire and develop teams, fostering an engaged, high-performing culture
Commercial acumen with strong financial capability and a commitment to quality care
Highly effective communication skills with a visible, hands-on leadership style
Sound knowledge of regulatory frameworks, quality standards and risk management
AHPRA registration (highly regarded), or relevant qualifications/experience in a related field
