About The Canungra Health Centre
Canungra Health Centre is located a short drive from the Gold Coast and on Kokoda Barracks. This is where officers and soldiers in the Australian Army Intelligence Corps complete their initial employment training, and all-corps training is conducted throughout officer and soldier careers. It was established in **** for Army jungle warfare and infantry training. It was closed from ***********, however reactivated during the Vietnam War. Services provided include primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health and pharmaceutical services. Standard operating hours of the centre are generally ********* Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements).
What You'll Do
Deliver high-quality primary care to Defence membersOcc Med environmentWork collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environmentConduct fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment careProvide medical advice to Defence health leadership
What You Bring
Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a General PractitionerFRACGP, FACRRM or Vocational RegistrationMinimum two years' GP experience in the last five yearsCurrent CPR certification (HLTAID009)Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance)Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient-centred care
Additional Information
Provide Occupational Medicine servicesCivilian role – no enlistment requiredPart-time, full-time and after-hours opportunities available
