As the Safety Coordinator, you will support health and safety initiatives across processing and surface operations, including maintaining safety systems, facilitating risk assessments, managing SHMS documentation, coordinating training and inductions, supporting incident investigations, ensuring compliance with site standards, and promoting a positive safety culture across the operation.
About the Candidate
Minimum 5 years' experience in metalliferous mining.
Solid background supporting processing plants and surface mining operations.
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent training qualification).
Experience using SharePoint and Skytrust, with strong computer literacy.
Experience facilitating risk assessments and developing Safety and Health Management Systems.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Commitment to promoting a positive safety culture.
