Summary Managing all commercial contractual matters in relation to the project while working closely with clients; mining, private public sectors.
Perth CBD based role – intermediate / experienced level Career progressive pathway in well-established Contracting firms High performing team culture | top-tier projects -Infra/Mining/Industrial/Energy Perth CBD based role – intermediate / experienced level Well-established Build Civil Infrastructure Contractors High-performing team culture MRWA / Mining / PTA / Energy / Infrastructure / Civil / NPI The Position Reporting to the Contract Manager/Commercial Manager, you will play a key role in managing the commercial and contractual performance of projects from precontract through to final account.
Depending on your background as a Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor, your responsibilities will include: Skills and Experience Administration of head contracts and subcontract packages Preparation, negotiation and letting of subcontract agreements Managing client and subcontractor variations Assessment and submission of progress claims Administration of extensions of time and contractual notices Cost planning, budgeting and forecasting Measuring and valuing works completed on site Preparing cost reports and monitoring project financial performance Procurement and purchase order management Maintaining RFIs, registers and document control systems Supporting final accounts and project closeout The Company Our clients are a group of well-established Construction, Civil, Infrastructure and Mining/Energy contractors with a robust footprint across WA.
Each business delivers projects across MRWA, mining, PTA, energy, civil infrastructure and NPI environments.
With a healthy pipeline of secured work and ongoing project delivery requirements, they are now looking to appoint experienced Contracts Administrators / Quantity Surveyors to support their Perth CBD based teams.
Essential criteria: Demonstrated experience as a Contracts Administrator, Senior Contracts Administrator or Quantity Surveyor within civil or construction contracting Project experience across MRWA, Mining, PTA, Energy, Civil Infrastructure or NPI projects Strong understanding of contract structures, commercial risk and legal implications Experience working within contractor delivery environments across infrastructure, civil or industrial projects Proficiency in contract management systems and Microsoft Office Strong written and verbal communication skills Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar You will be commercially astute, detail oriented and confident managing risk while maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
