Job Description
We're looking for an enthusiastic Allied Health Assistant to work Part Time 56Hours per fortnight at our Cootamundra Facility.

In this dynamic role, you'll support older adults to stay strong, independent and engaged with life. Working alongside Physiotherapists and Allied Health Professionals, you'll deliver fun, safe and meaningful exercise programs that help residents move with confidence.

Help older adults stay active, independent and engaged in daily life.

Deliver fun, safe and meaningful exercise and re-enablement programs.

Work closely with Physiotherapists and Allied Health Professionals.

Support residents through group fitness sessions and personalised 1:1 activities.

Coordinate wellness gyms, promoting safe equipment use and engaging programs.

Requirements
n
Certificate III or IV in Allied Health Assistance (specialising in
Physiotherapy/Occupational
Therapy)



or equivalent such as Certificate III or IV in Fitness
n
Experience in physiotherapy assistance
n
Have knowledge of anatomy and physiology to support safe and effective exercise within the aging population
n
A warm, friendly and empathic approach with a passion for Aged Care
n
Strong computer literacy and numeracy skills are essential
n
Computer literacy skills such as using mobile devices and web applications a must
n
Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and complete activities (including the ability to work within the scope of practice and seek assistance when required) as delegated by supervising
Physiotherapist/Allied
