We're looking for experienced
Chef de Partie
to join our kitchen on a fixed-term contract through to
11 December ****
. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a professional, fast-paced kitchen and values consistency, teamwork, and high standards. The premium rate reflects our commitment to reliable chefs who can see the contract through.
Contract: Immediate start - until Friday 11 December **** (option for an additional week to be confirmed later)
Pay: $50/hour (10am or 11am starts); $52/hour (3am or 4am starts)
Hours: 38 hours per week (Consistent shifts)
Location: Artarmon - street parking & public transport available
What You'll Do
Support the Sous/Head Chef during service, maintaining high standards of quality, pace, and consistency
Manage mise en place, prep, and presentation to consistent standards
Maintain kitchen hygiene, organisation and stock control
Coach and support junior team members




Uphold food safety and OH&S; requirements
Contribute to menu development, specials, and seasonal changes
What You Bring
Proven experience as a Chef de Partie (or strong Demi Chef ready to step up)
Broad skills across multiple kitchen stations
Calm, organised, and consistent under pressure
Excellent communication and teamwork
Current food safety certification
Commitment to the FULL CONTRACT period
