701 Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced
Advanced Scaffolder
for a
Leading Hand
position with one of our established clients.
This is a hands-on role working across a range of commercial, industrial and maintenance projects throughout South-East Queensland. The majority of the work involves
aluminium scaffolding
, including more complex structures.
About the Role
Lead and work alongside a team of scaffolders
Erect, alter and dismantle scaffolding
Work from plans, drawings and site requirements
Inspect scaffolding and identify safety issues or defects
Install guardrails, toe boards and other safety equipment
Communicate with site supervisors, engineers and other trades
Use power tools and scaffolding equipment
Ensure all work is completed safely and to the required standards
Help train and support junior scaffolders
What We're Looking For




Advanced Scaffolder qualification/licence
Minimum 5 years' scaffolding experience
Previous Leading Hand or crew-leading experience
Experience with complex or high-risk scaffolding
Ability to read and understand scaffolding plans and drawings
Valid driver's licence
Strong safety focus and attention to detail
Comfortable working at heights and outdoors
Positive communication skills and ability to work well within a team
Commercial, industrial or structural scaffolding experience highly regarded
Confined Space ticket
highly desirable
Other Requirements
Some projects are within the wastewater industry, so you must be willing to obtain the
Hepatitis A & B vaccination
if required.
