About the Role The purpose of this role is to deliver exceptional,
authentic, and inspiring visitor experiences through outstanding customer service across ticket sales, retail, guided tours, and visitor engagement activities.
The role provides visitors with information about Phillip Island Nature Parks and the region and, through positive and memorable interactions, inspires a deeper connection with nature, wildlife, and the importance of conservation.
About you You thrive on creating exceptional, genuine, and inspiring experiences for every visitor and have a passion for wildlife and conservation.
Your customer service is warm, engaging, and memorable.
Experience in tour guiding is highly regarded, with confidence in leading groups, sharing engaging stories, and bringing our wildlife and conservation work to life.
Language skills are also highly desirable, helping us connect with visitors from around the world.

The Benefits Multiple part-time roles available - Minimum 20 hours per fortnight Inclusive, supportive and growth focused workplace culture.

For further details about the role, including key duties and responsibilities, please refer to the Position Description - Visitor Experience Officer Key Selection Criteria Demonstrated high level of experience in customer service Previous experience in visitor engagement, sales and service duties within a fast-paced environment Ability to provide high quality service, information and guidance to a diverse range of visitors including Non English speaking visitors.
Experience in system use, point of sale, ticketing systems and cash handling and use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Proven ability to follow directions, de-escalate and resolve conflict and multi-task and prioritise in a diverse environment Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills Other Requirements: Working with Childrens Check Drivers License First Aid Level II and CPR
