Reporting to the Transport Supervisor, this role is responsible for ensuring the effective and safe movement of all freight in and out of our 3PL Warehouse.
The ideal candidate will have a natural ability to positively join a team and roll with the punches, be flexible to handle anything that might come their way and display resilience during busy periods.
Objectives of this Role Transport Operations Planning: Coordinate and allocate daily parcel and pallet delivery schedules across Brisbane and South-East Queensland, ensuring the effective utilisation of fleet and transport resources.
Maximise route efficiency and delivery productivity while coordinating both company drivers and subcontracted transport providers.
Manage Delivery Performance: Monitor delivery performance in real time, proactively managing service exceptions and operational disruptions to maintain customer service standards.
Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with drivers,
customers and warehouse teams through clear and effective communication Service Delivery: Investigate and resolve service issues promptly and ensure all transport activities are conducted in accordance with Chain of Responsibility (CoR), safety and company compliance requirements.
