We deliver occupational therapy and other community health services through: Telehealth appointments In-clinic consultations at our Tarneit clinic Mobile services across Melbourne and surrounding areas Our team works collaboratively with clients, families, carers and other professionals to help people improve their independence, participation, safety and overall quality of life.
About the Opportunity We are seeking one full-time Occupational Therapist to join our growing allied health team.
This position would suit an Occupational Therapist who values meaningful, community-based work and enjoys delivering flexible services across clinic, telehealth and mobile settings.
Applications are welcomed from graduate, early-career, mid-level and experienced Occupational Therapists.
The successful applicant will manage an occupational therapy caseload, conduct assessments, prepare reports and develop practical, evidence-based interventions tailored to each client's needs and goals.
This is a full-time employee position based on a 38-hour working week .
Salary and Benefits Flourish Holistic Services offers: A salary of $90,000–$110,000 per annum , depending on qualifications, experience and capabilities 12% superannuation Reimbursement of $1.00 per kilometre for approved work-related travel A varied role across telehealth, clinic and community settings The opportunity to work within a compassionate and growing community health organisation A collaborative, person-centred working environment Exposure to a diverse range of clients, needs and service settings Key Responsibilities The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for: Conducting comprehensive occupational therapy assessments Identifying clients' functional abilities, support needs, strengths and goals Developing individualised, evidence-based intervention plans Delivering occupational therapy services through telehealth, in-clinic appointments and mobile visits Supporting clients to improve independence in daily living,



self-care, mobility, communication, community participation, education, work and leisure Recommending suitable assistive technology, equipment, environmental modifications and practical support strategies where appropriate Completing functional assessments and other relevant clinical assessments within the Occupational Therapist's scope of practice Preparing accurate, professional and timely clinical reports, progress notes, recommendations and supporting documentation Monitoring client outcomes and reviewing intervention plans as needs and circumstances change Providing education, guidance and practical strategies to clients, families, carers and support networks Working collaboratively with other allied health professionals, medical practitioners, support coordinators, community organisations and relevant service providers Participating in case conferences, care-team meetings and multidisciplinary discussions where required Managing appointments, travel, clinical documentation and caseload responsibilities effectively Maintaining accurate and confidential client records Following professional, ethical, privacy, safeguarding, workplace health and safety, and clinical governance requirements Maintaining skilled competence through continuing professional development and reflective practice Representing Flourish Holistic Services professionally in the clinic, in the community and during online appointments Qualifications and Requirements Essential Applicants must have: A recognised tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist Professional indemnity and public liability insurance where required Current Australian working rights A current Victorian driver licence Access to a reliable and appropriately insured vehicle for mobile service delivery Strong clinical assessment,



intervention planning and report-writing skills Clear verbal and written communication skills The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a multidisciplinary team Sound organisational, time-management and caseload-management skills A commitment to person-centred, culturally respectful and evidence-based practice The ability to maintain professional boundaries and protect client privacy and confidentiality Competence using computers, electronic records and telehealth platforms The successful applicant must also hold or be willing to obtain all screening and employment checks required for the role, which may include: National Police Check Working with Children Check NDIS Worker Screening Check, where required Any other mandatory checks or documentation relevant to the clients and services being provided Required employment documentation, registrations and screening checks are to be obtained and maintained by the employee at their own expense and are not reimbursed by Flourish Holistic Services.
Desirable Experience The following would be highly regarded: Experience working in community health, disability, rehabilitation, aged care or another relevant allied health setting Experience conducting functional assessments Experience providing services in clients' homes and community environments Experience delivering occupational therapy through telehealth Knowledge of assistive technology and home or environmental modification recommendations Experience working with people from diverse cultural, linguistic and socioeconomic backgrounds Solid understanding of person-centred, strengths-based and trauma-informed practice Experience preparing high-quality clinical reports and recommendations Confidence working independently in mobile and community settings Graduate Occupational Therapists who demonstrate strong communication skills, professional judgement and a commitment to learning are encouraged to apply.
