$76,383 - $81,228 per annum (dependent on experience) plus superannuation

A bit about the role
We are seeking an Administration Officer to join thePlanning and Place Administration team. Reporting to the Coordinator Planning and Place Administration, your role is to:
Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, providing information and directing enquiries relating to Planning, Building and City Strategy services
Provide administrative support across planning and building services, including application processing, documentation, notifications and correspondence
Support community consultation activities and stakeholder communications
Work collaboratively across teams to deliver high-quality customer service and contribute to continuous improvement
About you
We're looking for someone with:
Knowledge of the Victorian Planning and Environment Act ****, the Subdivision Act **** and/or the Building Act ****, Building Regulations **** and Building Code of Australia and any relevant regulation would be an advantage
Experience in the processing of planning and building applications.
Knowledge of computer software including but not limited to Microsoft Office suite and Pathway
The ability to handle enquiries in a professional and customer focused manner
Customer service excellence and sound communication skills
