What You Will Be Doing
Operating excavators to complete final trim works
Performing detailed earthworks and construction activities
Working within rail corridor environments
Reading and interpreting plans and project requirements
Conducting pre-start inspections and equipment checks
Maintaining compliance with site safety and operational procedures
What You Will Need
Demonstrated experience operating excavators in final trim applications
Current RIIs or competencies for Excavator Operations
Current Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card
Rail Category 3 Medical
Completion of Rail Industry Safety Induction (RISI)
Ability to complete Safely Access Rail Corridor (SARC) training within two weeks of commencement
Strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
