Working with a design-led commercial fit-out business in North Sydney, you'll lead the creative team and shape tailored interiors that respond to each client, site and brief. You'll have the freedom to develop the concept, influence the details and see your ideas come to life through construction.
The Opportunity
You'll oversee the complete design journey, combining creativity, technical expertise and team leadership.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading and mentoring the creative team
Developing space plans, mood boards and finishes selections
Preparing FF&E; schedules and coordinating suppliers and samples
Producing and reviewing documentation in Archicad
Reviewing construction and joinery details for quality and buildability
Creating 3D models and renders where required
Presenting ideas and building strong relationships directly with clients
Coordinating with project managers, consultants and delivery teams
Visiting projects during construction and supporting final handover
Maintaining design quality, compliance and consistency across every project
Keeping the studio connected with new products, materials and design trends

Developing space plans, mood boards and finishes selections
Preparing FF&E; schedules and coordinating suppliers and samples
Producing and reviewing documentation in Archicad
Reviewing construction and joinery details for quality and buildability
Creating 3D models and renders where required
Presenting ideas and building strong relationships directly with clients
Coordinating with project managers, consultants and delivery teams

Keeping the studio connected with recent products, materials and design trends
About You
You may be a Senior Interior Designer, Interior Architect or Architect with:
Strong commercial interior or fit-out experience
Advanced Archicad capability
Experience taking projects from concept through documentation and delivery
A strong eye for space, materials, finishes and detail
Sound knowledge of the NCC, BCA and Australian Standards
Confidence presenting to clients and managing stakeholders
Team leadership or mentoring experience
A practical understanding of construction and buildability
