As a Principal House Officer, you will work collaboratively with consultants, visiting specialists, nursing and allied health professionals to provide high-quality patient care across the health service.
The Role
You will contribute to:
The delivery of effective, efficient and equitable clinical services
Assessment and management of hospital patients
Working collaboratively with Consultants and Visiting Medical Specialists
Multidisciplinary patient care
Clinical handover and continuity of care
Medical education and teaching
Dissemination of clinical knowledge to medical, nursing and allied health staff
Patient and family education
Quality improvement and service development
The appointment will be with the
Wide Bay Hospital and Health Service
, with clinical services provided across
Hervey Bay and Maryborough Hospitals
as required.

A Principal House Officer is a medical practitioner in their
third or subsequent year of practical experience following eligibility for full registration as a medical practitioner
.
Remuneration & Benefits
Total remuneration package up to $177,295 per annum
Including:
Base salary $137,861 – $151,417 p.a.
Employer superannuation contribution of up to *****%
