About the Business
Our client is a growing cabinet making business based in Campbellfield, operating successfully for the past year and quickly building a strong reputation within the industry. Specialising in high-quality kitchen cabinetry for large building companies, the business has experienced consistent growth through repeat work and word-of-mouth referrals.
Due to continued demand, they are seeking an experienced and approachable Cabinet Maker Supervisor to lead and support the workshop team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on supervisory position suited to a mature, reliable, and friendly industry professional who enjoys leading by example. You will oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate schedules, support tradespeople and apprentices, and ensure projects run efficiently and on time.
During busy periods, you may also assist with onsite installations when required.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate daily production and installation jobs
Supervise and support cabinet makers and apprentices
Provide training and guidance to apprentices and junior staff
Allocate jobs and monitor workflow across the workshop
Complete and manage weekly staff timesheets




Check deliveries, materials, and incoming parts
Ensure all components and cabinetry are prepared correctly for jobs
Maintain quality control and workshop organisation
Assist with installations during peak workload periods
Promote a positive, supportive, and team-focused work environment
Skills & Experience
Previous experience in cabinet making and workshop supervision
Strong knowledge of kitchen cabinetry production and installation
Ability to lead, mentor, and support a team
Excellent organisational and communication skills
Reliable, hands-on, and proactive attitude
Friendly and approachable leadership style
Ability to work well under pressure in busy periods
Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle essential
