About The Role:
Randstad has been engaged to recruit a talented Senior Project Manager. The client has a strong presence in the energy sector in Australia and has a strong pipeline of projects with a mix of substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy projects (wind, solar, BESS).As a Senior Project Manager you will:
Manage project budgets, timelines, and deliverables
Build & maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, sub-contractors, suppliers, and other project partners
Prioritise quality, safety and HSEQ standards
Provide technical and site leadership across engineering, procurement, and construction
Lead projects from conception through to commissioning and handover
Lead end-to-end project execution, project leadership
Experience:
Proven expertise in project management in the energy sector (HV infrastructure, utilities, renewable energy)
P&L; Accountability
Proven experience delivering HV infrastructure and large-scale EPC projects.
Experience managing sub-contractors, stakeholders, client relationships, contract management
Strong commercial, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Strong leadership abilities
Ability to manage and deliver projects on time/budget
Experience with grid connection, SCADA, commissioning activities, and other related activities

Degree in Engineering, Construction, or other closely related discipline
10+ years in Project Management
Background in delivering large-scale utility and renewable energy projects
Project Management certification highly desirable (PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent)
