This is a highly visible role that will act as the primary engagement point for business areas seeking to explore and adopt artificial intelligence. You will identify and shape AI opportunities, guide initiatives through governance and delivery pathways, and help ensure investment delivers measurable organisational value.
The opportunity
You will work at the intersection of business strategy, innovation, governance and technical delivery. Building relationships across the organisation, you will help stakeholders translate business challenges into clearly defined and appropriately governed AI initiatives.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Building trusted relationships with business areas to understand their priorities, challenges and opportunities
Facilitating discovery workshops, ideation sessions and stakeholder consultations
Identifying and assessing potential AI use casesDefining expected business outcomes, advantages and success measures
Assessing opportunities for strategic alignment, value, feasibility and organisational readiness
Developing initiative concepts, value propositions and preliminary business cases
Guiding AI opportunities from initial idea through governance and implementation
Managing the AI Initiatives Register and broader opportunity pipeline
Supporting portfolio prioritisation, demand management and investment planning
Monitoring initiative progress, dependencies, risks, benefits and delivery status
Coordinating engagement with security, privacy, architecture, information management and legal stakeholders
Supporting business areas with FAIRA assessments and other governance requirements
Facilitating benefits planning, change readiness and adoption activities
Preparing executive reports, dashboards, briefings and portfolio insights
Promoting AI literacy, adoption, lessons learned and Communities of Practice
Contributing to the continued development of AI governance, operating models and engagement frameworks

About you
You will be a confident and influential engagement professional who can connect business needs with technical delivery. You will be comfortable working across diverse stakeholder groups, navigating governance processes and presenting complex information clearly to senior leaders.

Previous experience within a large, complex or government environment understood.
Contract details
Contract period: 28 September **** to 24 September ****
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Work location: Carseldine
Flexible working: Up to 50% work from home
