Swimtastic Swim School is a family-owned and operated swim school in Loganholme, and we're growing!
With our summer programs getting busier, we are looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly people to join our team as
Swimming Instructors
.
We'd love to hear from experienced and qualified swimming teachers, as well as enthusiastic people looking to start a career in swim teaching. No previous teaching experience is necessary for the right person — if you're great with children, comfortable in the water and eager to learn, we can provide the training and support you need to become a confident swimming instructor
The roles
We have two opportunities across:
Learn to Swim classes – Must be available Saturdays
School Swimming programs – Term 4, 8-week casual employment 11:15 to 2:15 Monday to Friday
Hours can be flexible depending on your availability, with opportunities for additional shifts as our programs continue to grow.
What's required
Hold a recognised Teacher of Swimming qualification
Have current CPR and Blue Card
Are available for regular weekly shifts
Qualifications in
Baby & Toddler swimming,



Adult Learn to Swim or Aqua Fitness
would be highly regarded.
Never taught swimming before?
We are happy to consider people with
no previous swimming instruction experience
who have the right attitude and are interested in completing the required training.
This opportunity could be particularly suitable for:
University students studying education or other child related careers
Teacher aides
Childcare and early childhood educators
Sports coaches
People with experience working with children
Strong swimmers looking for a rewarding casual role
Parents looking for flexible work around family commitments
We'll provide support, mentoring and on-the-job training while you develop your teaching skills.
