The Role
Reporting to the Head of Project Management, this hands‐on role will be responsible for the design, programming, testing, commissioning and ongoing support of automated food processing machinery.
Working across the full project lifecycle, your key responsibilities will include:
Design, develop and modify PLC, HMI, SCADA and motion control systems
Develop electrical, control and automation solutions for industrial machinery
Conduct FAT, SAT, I/O testing and system validation
Install, configure and commission machinery at customer sites
Troubleshoot electrical,



automation and control system faults
Support equipment upgrades, retrofits and optimisation projects
Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal project teams
Ensure solutions meet relevant safety, electrical and machinery standards
Your Background
You are a practical Automation or Controls Engineer who enjoys being involved from design through to commissioning. You will also have:
Degree or Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or similar
Experience designing, programming and commissioning industrial automation systems
Strong PLC, HMI and SCADA experience
Strong troubleshooting and fault‐finding capability
Experience with FAT, SAT and commissioning
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Ability to undertake domestic and periodic international travel
