Nexta Homes is seeking an experienced
Residential Construction Site Supervisor
to manage and coordinate residential construction projects across Adelaide.
Key requirements:
Minimum 3 years' experience in residential construction supervision in Australia
Robust knowledge of residential construction processes
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
Excellent trade coordination and communication skills
Current valid Driver's Licence.
Strong commitment to quality, safety and project timelines
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise and manage residential construction sites from
site commencement through to practical completion
.
Coordinate and manage
trades, subcontractors, suppliers and site deliveries
to ensure construction progresses according to the project schedule.
Ensure all works are completed in accordance with
approved plans, specifications, building codes, Australian Standards and company requirements
.
Monitor
quality of workmanship
,
identify defects and coordinate timely rectification.
Conduct regular site inspections and maintain
site safety, cleanliness and WHS compliance
.
Coordinate required
council, private certifier and consultant inspections
throughout the construction process.
Monitor construction progress, identify potential delays and implement solutions to keep projects on schedule.
Read and interpret
architectural, structural and engineering drawings
, specifications and construction details.
Maintain accurate
site records, progress reports, checklists and construction documentation
.
Communicate effectively with
project managers, trades, consultants and suppliers
.
Manage variations, site issues and construction queries in consultation with the Project Manager.
Coordinate
defects, final inspections and handover
to ensure projects are completed to a high standard.
