About the Role
As a Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment to support protected and reliable operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Performing maintenance, repairs and servicing on heavy earthmoving equipment
Completing component replacements, overhauls and fault diagnostics
Carrying out preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
Conducting daily inspections and refuelling activities
Ensuring maintenance is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard
Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Working collaboratively with the maintenance team to identify and implement practical solutions
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Trade qualification as a
Diesel Fitter
Post-trade experience within the mining industry
Proven experience maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Commitment to safe work practices and preventative maintenance
Current Queensland Driver Licence
Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively as part of a team
