The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for experienced Registered Nurses to join the team atLaunceston General Hospitalas an Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM). Working in partnership with the Nurse Unit Manager and multidisciplinary healthcare team, this role provides operational and clinical leadership to support the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care. The ANUM coordinates day-to-day patient care activities and patient flow, supports workforce and resource management, and contributes to service improvement initiatives that enhance patient outcomes and safety.
About the successful candidate

The successful candidate will bring strong clinical expertise, leadership capability and a commitment to delivering contemporary healthcare services.
Demonstrated clinical leadership experience with the ability to coordinate patient care, support staff and promote best-practice nursing outcomes.
Strong organisational and resource management skills, including the ability to prioritise clinical and administrative responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholder groups.
A commitment to quality, safety and continuous improvement, including clinical risk management and contributing to service development and innovation.

Details of appointment

1 x Permanent full time, shift worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, starting as soon asavailable.
Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.
Salary

$109,767 to $115,813 per annum(Pro rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.
Salary range is in accordance withNurses and Midwives (Tasmania State Service) Agreement ****.

In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
Post Graduate Allowance of up to 10% based on qualification type

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Nurse.

Applicants should note the following criteria are desirable:
Holds, or is working towards, relevant postgraduate qualifications.
