Position Profile: The Clinical Nurse Consultant
(Respiratory) provides expert clinical leadership and specialist
nursing care for children and young people with respiratory
conditions, primarily in the Complex Respiratory portfolio which
encompasses Cystic Fibrosis, Bronchiectasis, Primary Ciliary
Dyskinesia, and other chronic respiratory conditions.
The CNC role
oversees chronic disease management, care coordination, service
improvement, education, and quality initiatives, while providing
professional leadership and management to support the delivery of
safe, evidence-based and family-centred respiratory care.
