The Project
The consortium of John Holland, Bouygues Construction, Arcadis Australia, Jacobs and Ventia has been selected to build South Australia's biggest-ever road infrastructure project.
In partnership with the South Australian Government, this consortium forms the Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance.
The Torrens to Darlington (T2D) Alliance, will deliver the final 10.5km section of the North-South Corridor, forming a continuous 78 km, non-stop, traffic light-free motorway, and contributing to a long-lasting legacy for the community and people of Adelaide.
The T2D Project involves constructing two separate tunnels – the Southern Tunnels and the Northern Tunnels connected by an open motorway, with a combined total distance of 10.5km, open to traffic in ****.
The T2D project comprises the tunnels, surface works including road and bridge construction in addition to services buildings and complex mechanical and electrical infrastructure.

The Role
The CPS Coordinator will contribute to the planning, procurement and development of the design through management of a number of consultants to ensure alignment with delivery requirements such as scope, staging, program and target budget.
This position will transition from design coordination to a delivery role with a focus on monitoring and surveillance of contractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.




Key Accountabilities
Assist in the planning and procurement of design to ensure achievement of project objectives and KPIs.Coordinate the interaction of project members in the design delivery process, including design, construction, planning, estimators and community and stakeholder.
Determine construction methodology and programme in conjunction with delivery teamMonitor design documentation progress against the program and elevate key issues to senior managementReview design documentation and assist in the stakeholder review and approvals process.Optimize design solutions through design team coordination, value engineering and innovation.
Propose alternative solutions to complex issuesInput to SiD process and temporary works design as requiredManage the RFI process and initiate and manage Design Changes where required.Arrange and oversee the procurement of various contractorsCoordinate or undertake any support activities to ensure contractors are not delayedCarry out monitoring and surveillance to ensure contractors are complying with management plans,



designs and specificationsMonitor construction progress for adherence to programme and report to the Delivery ManagerDemonstrate financial management skills and commercial acumen in decision making and management of contractsManage contracts to ensure the delivery of the works does not exceed the target budgetPerform all duties in accordance with John Holland policies, processes, systems, reporting and procedures.
About You
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Science, Building Construction or equivalentIdeal candidate will have 3-7 years' experience in the field of either Civil Engineering Design or Civil Construction Delivery.Experience on major, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects is highly preferredYou will possess knowledge of project management structure, plans, specifications, standards and implications for project accountabilitiesUnderstanding of the Quality Management Plan.
Safety Management Plan, Environmental Management Plan and Projects Design Management PlanKnowledge of contractual, legal, commercial, and legislative compliance managementEffective time management skills including sequencing of workAdvanced skills in relevant computer software packages; Microsoft Suite; Primavera 6Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
