What you will be doing:
- Contribute to and preparing advice on housing and homelessness issues and to inform policy, program and project development on strategic policy issues that intersect with housing and homelessness outcomes and policy objectives.
- Undertake policy research and analysis to support evidence-informed strategic policy advice across inter and intragovernmental arrangements and legislative and reform development.
- Work with government and departmental partners to identify issues and develop policy options on strategic policy,
legislative and reform projects and tasks relevant to housing and homelessness policy outcomes and objectives.
- Prepare written materials and communications about strategic housing and homelessness policy, legislation and reform, including briefs, correspondence, reports, submissions, proposals, presentations and legislative support and development materials.
- Work effectively as a member of a team to support and deliver projects and tasks, including by providing project management and administrative support.
- Support and help maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day-to-day operations.
