About the Role

Reporting to the Financial Lines Manager, WA, this role is responsible for driving underwriting profitability and growth across our Cyber and Technology Practice business. You will underwrite new and renewal Cyber and Technology accounts in line with Chubb guidelines,



while also developing business through an allocated panel of corporate brokers within your delegated authority. This role requires strong relationship-building skills, commercial acumen and the ability to identify and pursue target accounts with confidence and tenacity. You will also be responsible for developing and executing business plans to maximise opportunities across your broker panel. You will bring enthusiasm, sound judgement and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues and managers.

In this role, you will:

Commercial Underwriting / Analysis

- Manage underwriting profitability and growth across your allocated broker panel.
- Underwrite new and renewal Cyber and Technology accounts in line with Chubb guidelines.
- Apply delegated underwriting authority appropriately and complete sound risk assessments.
- Develop and execute broker and account plans to maximise growth opportunities.
- Deliver agreed distribution activities, including broker visits, key account management, prospecting and new business generation.
- Work closely with the Cyber and Technology Practice Leader and Product Line Managers.
- Support pricing strategies, renewal negotiations and new business planning.
- Coach and support less experienced team members where required.

Relationship Management

- Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, producers and insureds.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities, including cross-departmental opportunities.
- Prepare, deliver and negotiate quotations.




- Participate in broker marketing activities and present to prospective producers.
- Share market and competitor insights with the wider team.
- Deliver product and capability presentations internally and externally.

Report on growth, profitability and performance across assigned brokers and accounts.

Qualifications:

What you'll bring to the role

- Experience underwriting Technology PI, Casualty, and Cyber classes of business in an intermediated market,

including an understanding of relevant pricing techniques and Claim development * Ability to handle a mix of mid-market volume business and large, complex accounts
- Makes recommendations for tailoring coverage and demonstrates knowledge of the products & services
- Ability to adapt to fast paced environment with frequent changes in product and industry dynamic in a rapidly

growing segment * Exhibits exceptional customer service skills and anticipates and responds to the needs of producers
- Has demonstrated ability to work well with people and influence decisions
