Wallaroo Hospital and Health Services is seeking an experienced MGP Midwife to join their maternity team on a contract basis from 23 November 2026. This is a 0.8-1.0 FTE opportunity for a skilled practitioner ready to deliver continuity of care within a midwifery group practice model. Preferred Requirements
- Current registration as a Midwife with AHPRA
- Demonstrated experience working within a midwifery group practice model
- Current Newborn Advanced Life Support (NALS) certification
- FSEP Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Familiarity with Sunrise EMR or willingness to quickly learn the system
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent qualification recognised by AHPRA
- Post-graduate qualification or specialisation in midwifery practice
- Evidence of ongoing professional development and engagement with midwifery standards
