As a Casual Administration Officer, you will play an important role in supporting the Inpatient Administration Team and contributing to the delivery of safe, high-quality healthcare services. This energetic position offers variety and flexibility, providing administrative relief across multiple areas while assisting patients, visitors, and clinical teams. Ideal for adaptable and customer-focused individuals, this role offers the opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment and make a meaningful difference to patient care.

- Provide administrative support and relief across the Inpatient Administration Team (Ward Clerks and Clinical Support Officers).
- Deliver professional and responsive customer service to patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.
- Accurately manage patient information, appointments, records, and data entry tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with organisational policies, procedures, and healthcare standards.
- Work flexibly across planned and unplanned shifts, Monday - Friday during business hours as required.

- Demonstrated administrative experience with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
- Flexibility and availability to work planned and unplanned shifts at least 4 days per week Monday - Friday. Availability on Mondays is essential.

Demonstrated ability to apply knowledge of electronic systems and computer software to achieve job outcomes. Working knowledge of including MS Office applications and database systems would be an advantage.
