Governance, Risk & Controls Manager

We are partnering with a leading consulting organisation to engage an experienced Governance, Risk & Controls Manager to support a major banking transformation program. This role is ideal for a governance professional who thrives in complex environments and enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders to drive risk, controls and delivery oversight.

About the Role

You will lead governance, risk, controls and executive reporting activities across strategic transformation initiatives, ensuring effective decision-making, risk management and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead governance, risk and controls activities across transformation programs.
- Manage governance forums, steering committees and stakeholder communications.
- Drive risk and issue management, reporting and escalation
- Prepare executive reporting including RAG status, risks, issues and dependencies.
- Support audit, assurance and regulatory activities





Skills & Experience

- Proven experience in Governance, Risk, Controls, PMO or Delivery Management roles
- Strong banking or financial services background.
- Experience with governance frameworks, executive reporting and stakeholder management.
- Robust risk management and communication skills
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Power BI, SharePoint and Microsoft Office.
