About the Role

You will be working at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH). It is one of the nation's most respected hospitals, with a distinguished history of serving the health needs of local, statewide, national and international communities. Our facilities and services are world class and our staff are dedicated, innovative and caring.

Provide a comprehensive range of reception and administration duties including front line services to all patients within Drug Health Services (DHS). The administration officer team supports the DHS Management Team, as well as Staff Specialist and clinical staff; to ensure the efficient and effective running of the department and maintain high qualified standards for DHS.

Ideal Candidate

- Certificate 3 in Health Administration or equivalent experience, and typing skills 40-50wpm.
- Excellent communication and personal skills with an ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
- Experience in administration, accounts and reception duties, demonstrated by the implementation and maintenance of administrative office systems.
- High level of initiative and flexibility and ability to work with minimal supervision with demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and initiate own work,



displaying analytical and problem solving skills and willingness to work within a shared administrative model as part of a multidisciplinary team.
