Wallaroo Hospital and Health Services is seeking an experienced MGP Midwife to join their maternity team on a contract basis from 16 November 2026. This is a 0.8-1.0 FTE opportunity for a skilled practitioner ready to deliver continuity of care within a midwifery group practice model. - Deliver continuity of midwifery care within a group practice model, building meaningful relationships with women and families
- 0.8-1.0 FTE contract position, commencing 16 November 2026
- Work in a collaborative maternity service with access to professional development and clinical support
Preferred Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in midwifery group practice (MGP) or continuity of care models
- Current Newborn Advanced Life Support (NALS) certification
- FSEP Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in midwifery practice
- Familiarity with Sunrise EMR or willingness to quickly learn the system
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Post-graduate qualification or recognised training in midwifery group practice
- Current professional indemnity insurance and up-to-date immunisation status
