Your Opportunity
As the ICT Technical Coordinator, Software Packaging and Deployments you will:
- Coordinate, package, test and deploy software applications for TAFE Queensland staff and students using AppsAnywhere, Microsoft Intune and Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
- Document technical requirements, package configurations, deployment instructions and support knowledge to ensure software deployments are reliable, repeatable and well supported.
This position reports to the Manager, End User Computing.
This is a Permanent, Full-Time opportunity.
The position is an on-campus role based primarily at Mount Gravatt, however you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the packaging, testing and deployment of software applications across AppsAnywhere, Microsoft Intune and MECM to support staff and student access to required software.
- Review software packaging requests, document technical requirements and translate business and teaching needs into clear packaging and deployment specifications.
- Build, configure,
test and maintain application packages in line with agreed standards, cyber security requirements and operational support needs.
- Prepare and maintain package documentation, deployment guides, configuration records and knowledge articles in the ServiceNow Knowledge Base.
- Develop test plans, test scripts and acceptance criteria for software packages and deployments, including regression testing where required.
- Perform technical testing and coordinate user acceptance testing with end users, ICT packaging staff, subject matter experts and other stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot packaging and deployment issues, including installation failures, access issues, detection rules, dependencies, conflicts and performance issues.
- Coordinate software releases with End User Computing, SOE, infrastructure, service desk, vendors and managed service providers to support a consistent end user experience.
- Contribute to software deployment scheduling, communication and change activities to minimise service impacts and support agreed delivery timeframes.
- Monitor deployment outcomes, maintain productive stakeholder relationships and contribute to standardised packaging, testing, documentation and continuous improvement practices.

How you will be assessed
The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:
- Demonstrated technical experience packaging, testing and deploying software applications using AppsAnywhere, Microsoft Intune, MECM or performing similar enterprise software and/or endpoint configuration deployments.
- Proven ability to analyse software requirements, document technical specifications and produce clear package, deployment and support documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to develop test plans, perform technical testing and coordinate user acceptance testing with end users, technical staff and subject matter experts.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve packaging and deployment issues across complex end user computing environments.
- Well-developed communication, coordination and relationship management skills, including the ability to manage competing priorities and contribute to continuous improvement in software packaging, deployment and knowledge management practices.
Highly Desirable Requirements
- Application packaging and deployment experience using AppsAnywhere, Microsoft Intune, MECM or similar enterprise endpoint management platforms.
