About the role.

IPG Advisors provide outstanding service to our clients and our Accountants are key to making this happen. Being one of the longest standing (over 40yrs) and successful Accounting Practices in the South West you will be provided with a secure career pathway. In this role, you’ll be in regular communication with clients, applying your knowledge and experience to resolve their problems and contributing to building their business success.

Depth of accounting experience, taxation skill and business knowledge is essential, along with strong communication and time management skills.

Small business accountants need to have a wide range of skills and abilities - you'll be able to develop those further with us while having the satisfaction of making a real difference.

Your responsibilities.

- Client management and liaison.

- Completion of financial statements and tax returns for small business entities and associated individuals.





- Reviewing and advising on various business structures.

- Preparing Business Activity Statements (BAS).

- Liaising with the ATO.

- Business budgeting and cash flow management.

- Accounting and software support for clients and their staff.

- Additional services to support our client's needs.

We're looking for someone with

- Accounting qualifications.

- Appropriate experience in Public Practice within Australia.

- CA/CPA completed/in progress.

- Excellent tax skills and knowledge.

- Strong computer skills, especially with Xero and Excel.

- Well developed written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

- A commitment to continuous professional development and the skills and experience to identify key technical issues.

- Confidence in their abilities to form long term client relationships and be an active team member contributing to the success of our clients and the practice.
