Due to increasing demand for our services, we are looking for highly motivated Structural Engineers with 3+ years of experience to join our Southport structural team. You'll play a key role in contributing to engineering design projects across a diverse range of commercial and industrial projects, collaborating closely with senior project engineers, drafters, and key clients. You'll enjoy being mentored by respected industry professionals and possess the agility required to consistently deliver high-quality work across a diverse range of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Contribute to engineering design projects across luxury and prestige residential developments
- Work on townhouses and multi-residential projects (3–9 storeys)
- Contribute to commercial and industrial developments
- Work on aged care and educational facilities
- Contribute to community and service clubs projects
- Work on civil infrastructure and bridges projects
- Collaborate closely with senior project engineers, drafters, and key clients
- Undertake site inspections
About you
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (Engineers Australia-recognised)
- 3+ years relevant postgraduate experience in a structural engineering practice
- Confident in structural principles, materials and applicable Australian Standards
- Familiar with AutoCAD and Hyne Timber Design,
with proficient working knowledge of SPACE GASS, Strand7 and Inducta Suite software
- Proven ability to work at pace, both independently and collaboratively
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and ability to undertake site inspections
- Interest in gaining RPEQ, NER, or CPEng accreditation
- Valid Australian Work Rights
- Valid Driver's Licence
