Trinity College is seeking an enthusiastic, innovative and dedicated Education Support Teacher to join a committed and collaborative professional team. The successful applicant will be passionate about supporting the learning, wellbeing and holistic development of young men, while embracing the College’s Catholic ethos and Edmund Rice tradition.
This role will involve teaching students in Years 4-12 and will play an important part in creating an inclusive, engaging and supportive learning environment where every student is valued and encouraged to reach his full potential.
The position will support students to develop confidence, independence and a robust sense of belonging, enabling them to flourish academically, socially and personally as active members of the College community.
The successful applicant will demonstrate:
- Relevant teaching qualifications and eligibility for teacher registration in Western Australia.
- Experience working with students requiring additional learning support.
- A sound understanding of evidence-based intervention strategies and inclusive education practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong subject knowledge and a willingness to contribute to the co-curricular life of the College.
- A genuine commitment to student wellbeing, inclusion and individual growth.
- A commitment to the ethos and values of a Catholic school.
- All successful applicants will be subject to EREA and legislative screening procedures in accordance with our child protection policies and procedures.
Successful applicants will be required to participate in the professional formation opportunities provided through Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) Colleges Ltd and Catholic Education Western Australia (CEWA) Ltd.
Applicants are expected to hold or be willing to work towards obtaining an accreditation to teach Religious Education.
