About the role

Cactus Wellhead Australia has a vacancy for experienced wellhead technicians who are looking for an opportunity with and established onshore wellhead company within oil and gas. Reporting to the Service Supervisor, the position will be responsible for the field installation and service of wellhead, Xmas trees, and associated wellhead equipment.

This position will be rostered for two weeks on and two weeks off or 3 weeks on and 3 weeks off based on operational needs.

Applicants must be willing to travel and work away from home base for extended periods, we have work in Brisbane, Perth, SA, and Roma, and this role could be required to travel to these locations and other locations depending on the needs of the business.

Successful candidates will be motivated, customer-focused, and place a high priority on safe work practices.

About you

• Oil and gas experience is essential.

• Xmas tree and Wellhead related installations experience is advantageous.

• Mechanical Trade qualifications are advantageous.

• High degree of Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and time management.

• Previously worked in FIFO conditions.

• A high priority on secure work practices.

• The ability to work away from home base in a remote location, in all weather conditions.

• A strong customer focus and motivation to succeed.

• A desire to join a growing company and be part of a team built on trust & respect.

• Must possess a Manual driver's license.

• Pre-employment screening including a medical, police check, and driver history check is required for this role.

• Based in NT is advantageous.

High risk licenses & qualifications related to the oil & gas industry will be highly advantageous.

The total Remuneration package contains base salary, field day bonus, and Super. The remuneration package is dependent on the skills and experience of the applicant.
