We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician (light Vehicle Mechanic) to join our team, this full-time position is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional who is looking to take their experience to the next level. This role is not your typical "Oil & filters only" as we are a fast-paced workshop with a wide variety of different work opportunities dependant on your skillset. Our work consists of Vehicle servicing, Mechanical repairs, 4x4 accessories & upgrades, Auto electrical, air-conditioning and diagnostics on all types of vehicles.
About the Role:
The right candidate will be someone who has a strong background in the automotive industry with 2 years post trade experience. Someone who has high-quality workmanship with a great work ethic, honest & reliable. You will be required to work a apart of a team environment as well as working closely with the service manager and provided support day to day. What you'll be doing
- Perform scheduled vehicle servicing on a wide range of vehicles
- Perform tyre changes and wheel alignments (Experience not essential)
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical issues
- Use advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to identify and resolve issues correctly
- Strong diagnostic knowledge, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used (Fully digital workshop / job cards)
- Adhere to all relevant safety and quality standards
- Proficient in using diagnostic equipment and tools
Requirements:
- Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
- Motor vehicle repairers certificate
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Light Vehicle Mechanic
- A Valid C class drivers license
- Current National Police Clearance
- Own tools
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
- Must be confident and experienced
- Must be well presented
- Must have excellent time management
- Must have High attention to detail

- Above awards rates of pay based on experience & performance
- Daily overtime paid
- Monthly bonus system
- Option to advance to leading hand / head mechanic (not essential)
- Up skilling & training provided
- Good working hours Monday- Friday
