About the role

Brendan Mc Connell Electrical is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team on a casual basis. This role is FIFO 2/1 and offers the flexibility of casual work whilst contributing to critical electrical operations within the mining, resources and energy sector. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, electrical systems and equipment across our operations, ensuring all work meets safety standards and regulatory requirements. This position is essential to keeping our operations running safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

- Install, inspect, test and electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations

- Diagnose electrical malfunctions and perform troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues promptly

- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, drawings and technical documentation

- Comply with all health and safety requirements and contribute to a safe working workplace

- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used

- Collaborate with other team members and trades to ensure effective project completion

- Respond to emergency electrical calls and provide timely solutions to minimise operational disruption

What we're looking for

- Current and valid WA, A Grade electrical license.

- Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably within the mining, resources or energy sector

- Valid High-Risk License, EWP over 11 Meters or willing to obtain

- Current CPR / LVR

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and electrical schematics





- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities

- Current first aid certification (advantageous)

- Valid driver's licence

- Flexibility to work casual hours as required by operational needs
