Ready to take the next step in your OT career?

This is more than a standard community OT position.

We’re looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist to join a growing practice across Brisbane, with a genuine pathway into Clinical Leadership, supervision and clinic development.

Initially, you’ll work predominantly within the community, managing your own DVA-focused caseload and delivering high-quality OT services to clients in their homes and community environments.

As the clinic develops, you’ll progressively transition into a clinic-based leadership position, helping establish systems, workflows and processes while supporting the growth of the clinical team.

The opportunity Locations: Brisbane South, North & West
Salary: Up to $130,000 + Super

The role is designed to progress as follows:
First 6 weeks:
4 days community / 1 day clinic
Next 6 weeks:
3 days community / 2 days clinic
From 12 weeks:
Two additional OTs will join the team, allowing you to progressively reduce your community caseload and step further into leadership.
Longer term:
Approximately 3 days clinic-based, with remaining time dedicated to clinical leadership, management and team development.

About the role
You’ll work autonomously across a DVA-focused caseload while contributing to the development of a growing clinical service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Conducting comprehensive OT assessments and interventions
- Managing your own community caseload
- Working with DVA clients to support functional independence
- Completing functional capacity and pre-employment assessments
- Providing home modification and assistive technology recommendations




- Developing client-centred treatment plans
- Liaising with GPs, allied health professionals, employers and other stakeholders
- Maintaining high-quality clinical documentation and reports
- Mentoring and supervising junior clinicians
- Contributing to clinical excellence and continuous improvement
- Helping establish clinic workflows, systems and procedures
- Progressing into a clinical leadership and management capacity

About you We’re looking for an experienced OT who:

- Holds current AHPRA registration
- Has experience in DVA, aged care, NDIS, occupational rehabilitation or a similar setting
- Is confident managing an autonomous caseload
- Has strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills
- Is comfortable working independently within the community
- Has excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
- Holds a current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle
- Is interested in developing their leadership and supervision skills
