Client Manager - Commercial Banking

Location: Sydney, Australia | Contract: Temporary (Parental Leave Cover)

About the Role

We are partnering with a top-tier global bank to recruit a Client Manager for a parental leave cover contract in Sydney. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of 60+ multinational subsidiary clients (with a key focus on Recent Zealand operations), leading client onboarding, KYC compliance, account openings, and relationship management across Cash Management, FX, and Credit.

What you'll do:

- Client Onboarding & Account Management: Manage client account openings and lead end-to-end KYC processes alongside global Relationship Managers.
- Relationship & Operational Support:



Serve as the primary point of contact for daily client requests, trade services, and issue resolutions.
- Credit Support: Facilitate credit originations, documentation, and renewals while monitoring credit allocations across the global network.
- Cross-Selling Opportunities: Collaborate with internal product teams to drive solutions across Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS), Corporate Cards, Trade, and FX.

What you'll need:

Essential:

- 2+ years of financial services experience (specifically Banking or Cash Management).
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Meticulous attention to detail, proactive follow-up skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident

Desirable:

- Background in front-office client coverage or client service.
- Experience in Treasury & Trade Solutions (TTS) product sales or account management.
- Credit origination and analysis skills.
