Northern NSW Local Health District is seeking Emergency Medicine JMOs and RMOs to provide locum coverage across its regional hospitals.
This is a fantastic opportunity to grow your emergency skillset, work within collaborative teams, and experience a wide range of presentations, all while enjoying the relaxed pace of regional NSW.
Clinical Environment – What You’ll Gain:
- Exposure to a wide variety of presentations, ideal for developing confidence in trauma, resuscitation, paediatrics, and mental health
- Opportunities to build procedural skills, including plastering, suturing, IV access, and emergency response
- Work with experienced emergency nurses and supportive senior doctors, creating a team-based environment that builds competence and safety
- Use of modern electronic medical records and structured triage systems ensures smoother clinical workflow and less administrative stress
- A strong fit for doctors working toward ACEM or GP training, or those seeking a broad and supportive emergency foundation
Eligibility Criteria:
- AHPRA General Registration
- Australian Working Rights
- NSW Working with Children Check and Police Check
- Willingness to complete onboarding and credentialing
What’s Provided:
- Up to $145/hour, depending on shift and experience
- Travel and accommodation covered
- Full credentialing and scheduling support
Location – Northern NSW LHD, NSW:
