Crystal Brook and District Hospital is seeking an experienced Midwife to join their Midwifery Group Practice (MGP) team on a contract basis from 31 October 2026. This 0.8 FTE role offers the opportunity to deliver continuity-of-care midwifery in a supportive rural healthcare setting, working with a team committed to woman-centred practice and clinical excellence.

- Deliver continuity-of-care midwifery through the MGP model, building meaningful relationships with women and families
- 0.8 FTE contract position based at Crystal Brook and District Hospital
- Work within a team-oriented team environment with access to professional development and clinical support

Preferred Requirements

- Demonstrated experience practising within a Midwifery Group Practice model




- Current Newborn Advanced Life Support (NALS) certification
- FSEP (Fetal Surveillance Education Program) Level 2 or Level 3 qualification
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills in midwifery care
- Experience with Sunrise EMR or similar electronic medical record systems is desirable

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor of Midwifery or equivalent, with current AHPRA registration as a Registered Midwife
- Post-graduate qualification or demonstrated advanced practice in midwifery
- Completion of MGP-specific training or orientation programs
