Baby Bunting (ASX: BBN) is Australia's largest specialty retailer of baby and toddler goods. Supporting new and expectant parents since 1979, the business has built a trusted brand and market-leading position through its commitment to customer experience, innovation and continued investment in its store network and digital capabilities.

As the business continues to execute its growth agenda, an opportunity exists for an outstanding Chief Financial Officer to join the Executive Leadership Team.

The role
Reporting to the CEO & Managing Director and partnering closely with key leaders across the business, this is a critical leadership role that extends well beyond traditional financial stewardship. The successful candidate will ensure the finance fundamentals are delivered to the highest standard, while partnering with the CEO and ELT to provide commercial insight, support strategic decision making and drive long-term value creation.

Key priorities will include driving business performance, enhancing planning and forecasting capability, supporting strategic investment decisions and ensuring the finance function is recognised as a proactive commercial partner to the organisation.

The CFO will play a key role in supporting Baby Bunting's strategic initiatives, including continued investment in customer experience, digital capability and the evolution of its Stores of the Future strategy.

A strong focus will be placed on evaluating investment opportunities, measuring return on capital and ensuring resources are allocated to the areas that create the greatest long-term value.

About You
You are a commercially astute finance leader with the ability to influence, challenge and partner at executive level.

You may already be an accomplished CFO, or an exceptional Deputy CFO, Group Financial Controller or senior finance executive seeking your first CFO opportunity. Most importantly, you will bring solid commercial capability, executive presence and a track record of operating in a high-performance environment.

You will possess:

- Significant finance leadership experience within an ASX-listed, private equity-backed or large-scale retail organisation.
- Strong financial control, governance and reporting expertise.
- Excellent commercial acumen and strategic thinking capability.
- Experience partnering with Boards, CEOs and executive leadership teams.
- A track record of leading and developing high-performing teams.
- The confidence and credibility to influence decision making and drive outcomes.

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a market-leading ASX-listed retailer and play a central role in shaping its future.

All third-party and direct applications will be forwarded to Sharp & Carter for consideration.
