FULL TIME CHEF/COOK WANTED!!!
17 CHURCH STREET NELSON BAY PTY LIMITED trading as T.I. Hospitality located at 991 Nyngan Road, Cobar, NSW, 2835, is currently seeking talented and dedicated Full Time Chef/Cook for the daily operation of our busy kitchen.
Major duties:
- Analyse recipes to assign prices to menu items, based on food, labour, and overhead costs.
- Prepare and cook foods in quantity of all types, either on a regular basis or for special guests or functions.
- Based on customers preferences develop menu in collaboration with Senior Chefs.
- Must display excellent prep, cooking, and plating skills
- Enforce OH&S; and hygiene regulations.
- Inspect facilities or equipment for regulatory compliance.
- Requisition stock, materials, supplies, or equipment.
- Schedule employee work hours by coordinating activities.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of cooks and workers engaged in food preparation.
- Demonstrate current cooking techniques and equipment to staff.
- Inspect supplies, equipment,
and work areas to ensure conformance to established.
- Meet with customers to discuss menus for special occasions.
Work experience: At least two to three years’ Experience in a fast-paced kitchen is preferred.
Education/Skills: Relevant Qualifications in Hospitality OR At least two to three years’ Experience
Annual Leave: 4 weeks
Working Hours: 38 Hrs per week
